Four rules for every suggestion

    The same kind of product

    A cola for a cola, a cereal for a cereal, a shampoo for a shampoo. Nutivio matches on the most specific category, never a broad one like “drinks” or “cosmetics”.

  2. 02

    A similar profile

    For food, the nutrition has to be comparable, so a sugary drink is never swapped for water or a snack for a vegetable. For beauty, the product type has to match.

  3. 03

    Clearly better

    The suggestion must score meaningfully higher. For beauty, that means fewer ingredients of concern, or none at all.

  4. 04

    Or nothing

    When there’s no trustworthy match, Better shows nothing. A random suggestion would be worse than none.
