Delete your Nutivio account
Fastest
In the Nutivio app
- Open the Account tab.
- Tap Privacy, then Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will be deleted.
- Enter your password and tap Delete account.
Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out on every device. Want a copy first? Use Account → Privacy → Export my data.
Without the app
By email
Email us from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. If you write from another address, we’ll ask you to confirm the request from your account’s address first, so nobody else can delete it.

What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address and password
- Food preferences and the health-data consent record
- Scan history, search history and favourites
- Baskets and Better choices
- Sign-in sessions on every device, and push-notification tokens
The copy of products saved on your phone for offline use is removed when you delete your account in the app, or when you remove the app.
What is kept, and for how long
Subscription transaction records
Only if you bought a subscription before Nutivio became free: kept for up to 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, for UK tax and accounting law.
Support requests
Kept for 24 months after the request is closed, then deleted.
Product reports, missing-product submissions and photos
Kept while relevant to the product, but separated from your account so they no longer identify you.
Anonymous scan counts
Scans are anonymised and only counted in totals that can’t identify you.
Backups
Encrypted backups roll over within 3 months. We never restore deleted accounts from them, except to recover from a serious incident, and would delete your data again straight away.
Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically
Nutivio is currently free. If you bought a subscription before it became free, it is billed by Apple or Google and deleting your account doesn’t cancel it: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
